LIVE OAKS BED AND BREAKFAST

i am so excited to have worked on this project.  congratulations to my mom and dad who have worked so hard at acquiring and adding their touch to live oaks bed and breakfast, and becoming official INNKEEPERS.  this lovely bnb offers four in house rooms with private baths and a beachy poolside cabana.  a backyard filled with live oak trees and a feeling that never made us want to stray too far from home.  overnight guests are pampered in the morning with breakfast that varies from french toast or waffles to hot casseroles and quiches.
homegrown was commissioned to shoot photographs for their website, develop a brochure and business cards, help custom furnish their spaces, build some unique reclaimed doors and windows and hang some art on the walls.  marlowe even transplanted two pesky rose bushes that are now budding in pots on my porch!  our prayer is that pat and gaye morris thrive in their new endeavor.

selling our house.

A TOUR THROUGH
THE RANCHITO

the front entry . we used colonial mexican doors and windows . we famed all of our openings with reclaimed lumber and beams . the entry interior has reclaimed antique pine floors and a tin ceiling . the walls are covered with lustre stone and native rock . we love the warm welcoming feeling you get when you walk in the door

kitchen, living and dining space . this is the original structure we bought five years ago . with high ceilings, original native rock walls, lots of natural lighting and an open floor plan it is great for entertaining guests

master bedroom and bath . the walls are covered in a warm faux finish . colonial mexican doors on the bedroom, bathroom and closet openings . tall windows with wooden shutters . reclaimed antique pine floors throughout . the bathroom shower and counter top is covered with travertine and we used a copper sink because we love them

the boys room, a bathroom and the guest room . more mexican colonial doors and windows . reclaimed antique pine floors in the bedrooms and white square tile on the bathroom floor . tall ceilings with exposed wood and beams . the boys room has a courtyard view and both have lots of great natural light and big closets

nestled on the five acres we call "the ranchito"
with lots of live oak trees and wildlife
